As promised, I bring you a series of posts about all the things that were crossed off my list before this blog existed.
On Saturday, November 6th, #15 was crossed off of my 30 before 30 list. Meet Westley:
We adopted this little guy almost two years to the day after we adopted Logan. Both boys come from the best rescue in the world, Doggie Protective Services. Westley is crazy. We wanted a companion for Logan, but Westley is so hyper that Logan keep us giving us looks like “Seriously? This guy?!?” Still, the boys are starting to get along, especially after a long day of playing when Westley is nice and tired out.
Logan was crazy when we got him, also. Watching him grow from a manic, insecure, broken-hearted dog into the well-adjusted companion he is today has brought us more joy than we ever imagined when we got him. We wanted to do that for another shelter dog – give them a forever home. We can’t wait to see the changes in Westley as he figures out that we’re his family, and he never has to move again.
He is a leggy, skinny, fluffy, puppy who gallops around our house and likes to lie at my feet. We’re super happy to have him.
